N.T. Wright on Scripture
A quote from N.T. Wrights book Justification on reading scripture:
"If you read your own question into the text, and try to get an answer from it, when the text itself is talking about something else, you run the risk not only of hearing only the echo of your own voice rather than the word of God but also of missing the key point that the text was actually eager to tell you, and which you have brushed aside in your relentless quest for your own meaning."
My name is David. I just moved to Chicago to attend seminary. I don't want to be a pastor. I just love studying and wrestling with theological questions and concepts.
Here I muse and wrestle with my life.
"Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy"
Proverbs 31:8-9

Hinkle Fieldhouse
When Hinkle was built in 1928 it was the largest basketball arena in the world. Today, it may no longer be the biggest stadium but for what it lacks in size it makes up with 81 years of Hoosier basketball character
